A recent survey reveals that two-thirds of millennials are dissatisfied with their current lives. Forty percent feel out of place in their jobs, and 35% remain uncertain about their paths. If they could choose again, half would opt for a different field of study. Thirty percent have spent extended time working, studying, or traveling abroad, with 60% eager to do so again. These insights highlight the uncertainties facing Dutch millennials, drawn from Monsterboard's Thirties Dilemma Test involving over 2,000 participants.
Millennials often sense that peers enjoy greater fulfillment from different life decisions. Over half report feeling they miss out due to friends' social media posts—29% regularly and 26% occasionally.
For most, relationships don't create a sense of missing opportunities, though 35% (14% never, 21% sometimes) feel otherwise. Notably, 64% occasionally wonder if this is all life has to offer.
