Bitch in Business: Viral Parody Exposes Everyday Sexism in Corporate America

You might know Meghan Trainor's retro hit All About That Bass, an anthem of self-acceptance. Its music video, one of YouTube's top recent views, shows the singer and friends embracing their curves in a playful, kitsch setting.

A fresh parody, "Bitch in Business," is now exploding on social media and YouTube. Crafted by a dozen female MBA students at Columbia University, this sharp satire calls out entrenched sexism in the business world.

The bold video kicks off with clichés too common in high-stakes, male-dominated offices: "Come on, honey, smile!" "She's talented but too aggressive—tone it down." "Be warmer." Or worse: "Bitch."

These women push back powerfully: "Being called a 'bitch' means I'm doing my job right." Translation: If matching men's drive and skill draws insults, they'll keep delivering top performance anyway.

That's the impact.
