Paye Ton Taf: The Tumblr Exposing Everyday Sexism in the Workplace

You may already know Paye ta shnek, the viral Tumblr collecting personal stories of street harassment. Now discover Paye ton taf, a powerful new platform calling out sexism at work—launched by the same creator, graphic designer Anaïs Bourdet.

Inspired by parliamentary assistants highlighting politicians' misconduct in Chez collaborateurs and lawyers pushing back against industry bias in Paye ta robe, this 32-year-old designer set out to prove no profession is immune.

"We can do that for your 95-C"

From teaching and hospitality to retail and tech, every sector appears in these raw accounts. Launched on Sunday, November 20, 2016, the site quickly amassed nearly 150 testimonials. "We can do that for your 95-C," "Tomorrow you put on a skirt, we have to sign!" "But you can't keep a man my word!" Paye ton taf shares, alongside other stark testimonies.

These painful remarks underscore how deeply sexism permeates society. Bourdet's goal, as she told BuzzFeed, is to assure women they're not alone—and to spark real change.
