Dutch office workers are embracing hospitality coffee trends like flavored brews, iced coffee, and grab-and-go cups. Barista-prepared drinks appeal widely, yet most employees balk at paying for them. The clear preference? Top-notch free coffee. These insights come from De Koffiemonitor, Nestlé Professional's annual survey on workplace coffee habits.
79% of Dutch workers maintain consistent coffee routines at the office. Still, they're open to mixing it up: nearly three in ten stick to the same variety daily, a quarter fancy syrup flavors like vanilla or caramel, and one in three would enjoy iced coffee.
Introduce a barista for coffee specialties and latte art? 80% say they'd partake. Respondents are willing to pay an average of €1.10 per fresh specialty, but 60% prefer not to pay at all.
