According to a Douwe Egberts survey of 1,016 Dutch adults, nearly 80% of those who drink coffee or tea at work say it makes their day more enjoyable. Three-quarters feel refreshed afterward, while half believe a quality cup elevates moments with colleagues. In essence, premium coffee and tea deliver invaluable benefits.
Nine out of 10 Dutch workers enjoy coffee or tea on the job, with 82% favoring coffee and 54% opting for tea. These beverages support peak performance when high-quality: 70% report smoother meetings, two-thirds feel mentally sharper, and nearly half generate better ideas after a cup.
For 79% of Dutch workers, a good cup kickstarts the day effectively. Two-thirds feel happier, and 86% view it as a moment of relaxation. Half say sharing a brew helps resolve conflicts, while two-thirds credit it with fostering team spirit. Additionally, half often chat with non-direct colleagues at the coffee machine.
