Landing a job isn't easy—persistence, determination, and originality can tip the scales. Damien Mescudi, a 22-year-old French community manager, stood out by crafting a one-of-a-kind CV from YouTuber video clips.
The idea hit him and his best friend during a 'StoryTime' YouTube session, where creators share personal stories. 'A YouTuber mentioned her high school diploma, and I thought: Why not extend the concept into a video-clip CV?' Damien explained to Echos Start. He reviewed about 50 videos to select key phrases, edited them into a montage, and posted it on Twitter. It exploded, racking up over 4,500 shares in days!
This bold move echoes Youcef Boualem's success, who turned tweets into a cover letter and secured his dream internship. Damien's off to a strong start, with promising job offers already rolling in.
