According to a comprehensive Regus survey of over 44,000 business professionals across more than 100 countries, 45% of Dutch respondents do not work from a fixed office for at least half the week, opting instead for varied locations. This trend mirrors patterns in Canada and the US, while it's even stronger in emerging markets like Mexico (64%) and Brazil (60%).
Dutch workers increasingly prioritize work-life balance, with 50% citing it as a key driver for flexible working. Additionally, 36% seek workspaces closer to home, while rising commuting costs (19%) and urban living expenses (19%) further motivate avoiding daily fixed-office commutes.
