Survey: 56% of Employees Prefer Casual Office Attire Amid Widespread Dress Code Confusion

A recent survey of professionals reveals significant confusion around casual dress codes in the workplace. While 56% prefer more relaxed attire, 41% often question whether their outfits are appropriate for the job. Notably, 48% would welcome uniforms to eliminate this uncertainty.

Employees were asked, “Which office dress code do you prefer?” Here's how they responded:
Very formal (suit and tie): 16%
Somewhat formal (dress, pants or skirt with shirt): 28%
Somewhat casual (khaki and polo shirt or sweater): 36%
Very casual (jeans and T-shirt): 20%
