To harness OneNote macros, use Onetastic, a robust plugin. Download the version matching your OneNote installation—32-bit or 64-bit—regardless of your Windows version.
Open OneNote, go to File > Account, and click About OneNote. Look for the purple text indicating 32-bit or 64-bit. Visit the Onetastic download page, unzip, and install the executable.
Post-installation, Onetastic appears on the Home ribbon. In Settings, select Show in a separate tab to create a dedicated Macros tab. Create your own via New Macro, or browse Download macros or the Macroland site.
