How to Undo Sent Emails in Gmail: A Simple Guide to the Undo Send Feature

As seasoned email users, we've all hit 'Send' too soon—forgetting an attachment, spotting a glaring typo, or regretting a hasty reply. Gmail's Undo Send feature is a lifesaver, letting you recall messages within seconds of sending. Once exclusive to Labs, it's now available to all users.

To enable it: Open Gmail, click the gear icon in the top right, and select Settings. Scroll to the Undo Send option (under General settings). Toggle it on and choose a delay from 5 to 30 seconds. Save changes.

Next time you send an email (via button or keyboard shortcut), a notification bar appears at the bottom. Click 'Undo' to pull it back to your drafts instantly. It's that straightforward.

There's no downside to enabling this—better safe than sorry. As Gmail power users know, small tweaks like this prevent major headaches.
