To cancel, follow these steps:

  1. Go to account.microsoft.com/services and sign in.
  2. In the Services & subscriptions section, find your Office 365 plan.
  3. Click Manage.
  4. Select Cancel subscription.
  5. Confirm in the pop-up.

If you bought an annual plan within the last 30 days or cancel a monthly plan within 30 days of renewal, you're eligible for a full refund.

Requesting a refund stops access immediately—your Office apps switch to read-only mode. You can open and print files, but editing is disabled.

Without a refund, apps remain fully functional until the paid period ends.

Note: Cancellation ends all Office 365 perks, including extra OneDrive storage and Skype credits. Shared users lose access too.
