Google has rolled out a timely update to its Goals feature in Google Calendar, making it easier than ever to stay committed to your New Year's resolutions.
Launched in April, the Goals feature streamlines progress tracking—ideal for regular Google Calendar users.
Set your goal, then answer simple questions about frequency and preferred times. Google Calendar automatically finds optimal slots in your schedule.
The latest enhancement? Seamless fitness tracking. Android users connect Google Fit; iOS users link Apple Health. It logs workouts, marks them complete, and delivers clear performance overviews.
This built-in motivation could be the edge you need to maintain your resolutions all year.
To start, open the Google Calendar app, tap the + button, and choose Goal. Options include exercise, skill-building, friends and family, personal time, or organization.

Test the new fitness tools by selecting Exercise and an activity—it'll guide you to connect Google Fit or Apple Health.
